What does it cost to open a firm account?
Nothing. You only pay for tests your firm orders and chooses to pay for.
Who can use our firm’s account?
Any attorney or staff member you add. Everyone at your firm sees your firm’s orders and results. Call us to add or remove people.
Can the people being tested live in different states?
Yes. Each person is collected at a site near them, and we match the samples at the laboratory.
Can my client pay instead of my firm?
Yes. Choose “Our client pays” when you order. Your client pays online from their secure page, and you can see when they’ve paid.
Who receives the results?
Only your firm, through your portal. Results are never emailed and never sent to the people tested or to other parties.
Are the results admissible in court?
Our legal tests use identity verification, a neutral collector and a documented chain of custody, which courts and agencies generally require. Requirements vary, so tell us in your order if a court or agency needs something specific.
What if my client misses the appointment?
We’ll contact them to reschedule and update the case in your portal so you can follow up.
For clients
I lost my link. What do I do?
Go to Start my test and enter your case code and last name, or ask your attorney’s office to resend it.
Does the test hurt?
No. DNA tests use a soft cheek swab. Drug and alcohol tests use urine, a small cut of hair or nail clippings, or a standard blood draw for PEth.
Can I get my results from you?
No. Results go to the attorney’s office that ordered the test. Please contact them.
