For clients
Your attorney asked you to take a test. Here’s what happens.
It’s quick, private and handled by professionals. Most people are in and out of the collection site in about 15 minutes.
Step by step
- Open your secure link. Your attorney’s office sends it by email or text. You can also enter your case code on our Start my test page.
- Confirm your details. Tell us your ZIP code and the days and times that work for you, and give your consent.
- Pay, if your attorney asked you to. You’ll see the amount and a secure payment button on your page. If your attorney’s firm is paying, you won’t see a price.
- Get your appointment. We book you at a collection site near you and send you the address and time.
- Go to your appointment with your photo ID. The collector takes your sample and seals it in front of you.
- Results go to your attorney. The laboratory reports directly to your attorney’s office. Contact them about your results.
What to bring
- A current government photo ID: driver’s license, passport or state ID
- For a child: the child comes with their parent or legal guardian, who brings the child’s birth certificate
- Your appointment details (on your secure page)
Your privacy
Your secure link is only for you. We use your contact details only to schedule your test. Results are never emailed and are only released to the attorney’s office that ordered the test.
