For attorneys
Testing your clients need, without the legwork
Order online, choose who pays, and get court-ready results in your portal. We handle scheduling, identity checks and the chain of custody, nationwide.
How ordering works
- Open a free firm account. We confirm your firm and email you a login, usually the same business day. Add as many attorneys and staff as you need.
- Place an order. Choose the test, add each person (name plus email or mobile), and mark which one is your client.
- Each person gets a secure link in English or Spanish. They confirm their details, give consent and, if your client is paying, pay online.
- We schedule collection at a site near each person, even when they live in different states, and send them their appointment.
- You follow every step in your portal and get an email when the status changes. Our emails never contain results or case details.
- Download the result and chain-of-custody records from your portal as soon as the laboratory reports.
Billing: your firm or your client pays
You decide for each order.
- Firm pays: the order goes on your firm’s monthly invoice. Your client never sees a price. We schedule as soon as everyone confirms.
- Client pays: your client pays securely online from their own page (or by phone). We schedule once payment is in, and you can see the payment status in your portal.
- Rush is available on any order for an added fee.
Results and privacy
- Results are released only to the ordering firm, never to the people tested and never to opposing parties.
- Each person consents to the test and to release of the result to your firm before collection.
- Result files are stored outside the public website and can only be opened by signed-in users at your firm.
- Every action on a case is logged, so you have a full record if the testing is challenged.
What makes a test court-admissible
A home DNA kit can’t prove who gave the sample, so courts and agencies don’t accept it. Our legal tests are collected by a neutral third party who checks each person’s government photo ID, photographs them, and seals the samples under a signed chain-of-custody form that travels with them to an accredited laboratory.
Testing requirements vary by court and agency. If an order or agency requires a specific laboratory, panel or method, put it in the order notes and we’ll match it.
